Back Story:

"Sometimes we can get mixed up with the definitions between passion and love, with passion often defined as being a mixture of both love and hate. This is where the idea of the song came from, as if there was a factory for creating passion and you never whether you'd be getting love or passion. The song also discusses how a love can grow well at the start despite being inevitably flawed or unhealthy, so sometimes the speed at which it is growing is not necessarily a good way to measure if a relationship is a good one for the long-term."
