Undefeated Katina Jolliffe (feat Joel Dobbins) Undefeated

Back Story:

"During the 2020 Australia Day celebrations in Wollongong, Katina and I were talking about song lyrics and creative writing in general and how much easier it is to write a sing compared to what most people think. At this point I had only just released my debut Forever Girl EP. For fun, we sat down just to see how it would go if we were to write lyrics for a song. As much as possible I let Katina guide the writing process and directions and ideas for the song but I would act as a catalyst and means to overcome any hurdle during that process so that the momentum would never stop. Essentially, I made sure that we were constantly writing and never letting that enthusiasm spiral downwards. Katina wrote about how despite disability she is undefeated, which is a great idea for a song I thought. Fortunately it worked out pretty well and we finished it within an hour. Excited by the creation we'd created, within a week I had made up the music, sang and recorded it while back in Sydney in Inky Studios. After showing Katina the demo, she liked it and so to record her vocals as well I got Katina to plug in earphones, go to a quiet spot, and then sing along to it in the Chorus into her phone. She recorded it via an audio recording Facebook message, which I was then able to download it via Chrome DevTools and then import it into Garageband for mixing."
