Cadenza Cove Studios
After a 20 month recording hiatus during the recording of his acoustic album project, Joel re-set up his studio to re-tackle the project. During this time, Joel was still composing new melodies and lyrics but hadn't recorded anything other than just demos on his phone. With a larger area to set up his studio he was able to spread out the equipment a bit more. This time he used milk crates as a substitute for traditional furniture so that, depending on the instrument being played at the time, the studio layout could be altered quickly and easily by sliding and rearranging the milk crates almost as if it were Lego. After the recording hiatus, Joel had a fresh set of ideas and inspirations, fuelling and evolving the once simple acoustic themed project into a more challenging and complex orchestral medley acoustic project.
