To Gain What Will Be Lost Gravier I Decided To Tell You
Back Story:
"I made this tune up in the car in it's entirety while waiting for my brother Samuel to do his drumming lesson, I'd just gotten my provisional drivers licence so was running errands for the family such as this. Samuel came up with most of the lyrics which was inspired by Rubber Soul and Revolver albums by The Beatles which were marijuana inspired songs that we wanted to replicate the feel of. It was also an attempt to make our first authentic rock song as Gravier, or Bwuders as it was at the time. The line "crimson haze" was originally "purple haze" after the Jimi Hendrix song "Purple Haze", which is a song I had just learnt at guitar lessons within a couple of weeks prior, but we changed that so it would be different."

Lyrics:
People live their lives without knowing why
They only aim to gain what will be lost
Hoping to get overwhelming high
Finding the reason with a crimson haze sky
They're having a joint discussion
Of the herbal jazz cigarette
Coming in and out of session
They have no idea of what's been said
People live their lives without knowing why
They only aim to gain what will be lost
Hoping to get overwhelming high
Finding the reason with a crimson haze sky
The tolerance of the side effects
Is an effect of itself
It's the start of a remedy
That gets you off your feet
People live their lives without knowing why
They only aim to gain what will be lost
Hoping to gain overwhelming high
Finding the reason with a crimson haze sky
People live their lives without knowing why
They only aim to gain what will be lost
Hoping to gain overwhelming high
Finding the reason with a crimson haze sky
To gain a state of euphoria
Just take a look at what you're making
You don't need a sun that's shaking
Why not start to straighten yourself out
People live their lives without knowing why
They only aim to gain what will be lost
Hoping to gain overwhelming high
Finding the reason with a crimson haze sky
